A professional couple with a home near Woldingham, Surrey are looking for a part-time housekeeper to work at their lovely home.
The property consists of 3 bedrooms, a dressing room, 2 offices and a gym along with reception rooms and kitchen.
The clients are in residence perhaps 40% of the week, sometimes working from home, but out for the majority of their time managing their work commitments. A private PA is also employed, who works from the property once or twice a week - but not necessarily on the same days as the housekeeper; there is another housekeeper, who works all day Thursday.
There are no children, but there is a lovely pet dog, who will need some occasional walking and a bit of TLC!
Candidates must drive, and be local, as the property cannot be easily reached using public transport.
- Hours: 10-5pm, Monday and Wednesday / Salary Circa £25 Per Hour (Self Employed)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning tasks, including bathrooms and bedrooms, with a view to maintain the highest level of cleanliness throughout the property,
- Replenishing items in gym and twice monthly cleaning of this area,
- Ensure all rooms are presented in a tidy and organised fashion,
- Changing and washing and ironing bed and bath linens,
- Oversee all laundry, including washing, ironing, folding and organising,
- Organising any items which need to be taken out for dry cleaning,
- Prepare guest rooms for whenever guests stay - including making beds with fresh linen etc,
- Replenishing toiletries and keeping stock of cleaning products etc,
- Receiving and organising deliveries,
- Working with PA to organise rubbish collections, purchase of personal items including toiletries and dry stores needed for the house etc, and
- Some dog supervision duties when owners are out, including occasional ad-hoc dog walking and feeding.
Eligibility
- Candidates must drive and have their own car,
- Candidates must be able to prove they are registered as self-employed,
- Candidates must be able to provide excellent checkable references,
- Candidates must be happy to undergo an ‘Enhanced DBS’ (if they do not already have a valid certificate), and
- For exceptional candidates, the employer may be prepared to discuss/amend the hours of work detailed on this JD.
