Basic £45,000 PA + Paid Over Time

 

We are looking for experienced Residential Security Agents to work at a lovely estate near Virginia Water.

Our client is looking for 3 Residential Security Agents (RSA), to join their team which will number 8 full time employees.

Applicants must be proven team players; they will need to work seamlessly together, and will be required to report directly to the family's head of security.

The RSA will oversee the security of the property, annex-buildings and estate, ensuring a safe and secure environment for the clients, their family, guests and other staff. This role demands professional trained candidates who are naturally vigilant while presenting a polished demeanour; who hold a current SIA licence, and possess a genuine passion for delivering a five-star service experience.

The role follows a shift-based roster, with the basic week requiring four, 12-hour shifts, per 7 day period.  Any extra shifts worked will be paid as overtime, at £18 per hour.

Candidates must be willing to be subject to thorough background checks and reference checking.

The ideal candidate would be able to commute to Windsor/Wentworth area. No accommodation is provided. Own transport is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure premises are secure, follow the required security processes, and make frequent patrols
  • Monitor electronic security systems and respond appropriately to alarms or other indications
  • Complete safety inspections to identify and report hazards by using fully developed procedures
  • Complete task-specific checklists at regular intervals - entering data, and ensuring logs are always up to date
  • Greet and validate visitors, contractors/vendors or deliveries coming to the properties and occasionally escort visitors, contractors/vendors or delivery people while they are on the property;
  • With the appropriate protocol and etiquette, be able to interact with the clients and guests in an appropriate fashion
  • Provide initial response and care for medical emergencies
  • Support private event security through validating attendees, controlling access, monitoring for safety hazards and responding to needs
  • Accurately document work activities and events; and
  • Work with Executive Assistants to ensure logistics are safe and timely.

Entry Requirements

  • SIA License
  • Up to date First Aid (paediatric First Aid would be an added advantage)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Two years of security and protective operations experience – military, security officer and law enforcement woudl be considered ideal backgrounds
  • Appropriate physical fitness, including the ability to stand for long periods (>2 hours) and walk long distances (>2 miles)
  • Work a variety of days and hours, including nights and weekends, at the discretion of Management
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of best practice security standards and procedures
  • Professional appearance and demeanour in order to interact with clients/guests (customer service and client relation skills), and
  • Integrity, thoroughness and preparedness.
