Maintenance/Handyperson I Nr. Windsor & Mayfair

Roles and Responsibilities

The Maintenance/Handy person will:

• complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to achieve a very high level of service for both properties.
• have the ability to anticipate and recognize the maintenance needs of the properties with guidance and oversight from the House manager.
• will also assist with special events held at the properties.

A non-exhaustive list of responsibilities are as follows:

• General cleanup of areas outside property and to assist gardening team
• Maintenance of the irrigation system
• Power washing of walls and pathways
• Pest control
• Small electrical projects – replacing bulbs, assisting with electrical projects
• Tennis court care and maintenance
• Contractor scheduling
• General household maintenance; loose hardware, light plumbing/drainage issues
• Various special projects

Accommodation

We have an amazing opportunity for a professional, hands-on Maintenance / Handyperson, based at a private estate near Windsor, England. Which will be coupled with travel and responsibility for a luxury apartment in Mayfair, London (typically requiring 2-5 visits per month).We are looking for a detail-oriented, skilled, and organized individual with a background working in the maintenance departments of luxury hotels or large private homes or estates. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding work ethic,  must show their enthusiasm for their job, and able to maintain the highest standards across 2 properties.

Entry Requirements

• The Maintenance person must possess the ability to always maintain a high level of strict confidence and professionalism.
• The Maintenance person must have excellent English communication skills (Verbal, Written, and Email).
• The Maintenance person must have a minimum of 5 years of varied maintenance experience working in commercial settings and/or ultra-high net worth family estates.
• The Maintenance person must have flexibility in his/her schedule.

Eligibility

Salary is negotiable. 40 hours a week but with the expectation that you will be flexible to work weekends, holidays and Overtime when requested.
