Daily Housekeeper I Mayfair

Circa £45,000-£50,000 PA gross

 

A client who we have helped on several occasions previously, is actively recruiting for an additional daily housekeeper to join their housekeeping team, in a fully staffed home.  

Suitable applicants must be experienced in looking after high quality soft and hard finishes, as well as being able to deliver their work to exacting standards.

Experience of working in high specification properties in London combined with  the ability to work well with an established team are going to be essential

You will be working for a private family who are in residence most of the year.

  • The family has school-aged and young children.
  • Flexibility is required,
  • Staff usually have 2 consecutive days off
  • Staff are required to work Friday, Saturdays and Sundays with 2 consecutive days off during the week.
  • The shift patterns are typically 8am - 4pm  / or 10am - 6pm / or 1pm – 9pm.

Roles and Responsibilities

  •  Cleaning the property daily to a very high standard.
  •  Taking care of specialist items such as silver, antiques and bespoke furniture.
  •  Laundry care, ironing and pressing and other domestic tasks.
  •  Running small errands.
  •  Serving food and drinks.
  •  Travel is required as the clients have several properties and at times staff are    required to travel with them.

Entry Requirements

  •  Possess the ability to work under pressure and use intiative when required.
  •  Be flexible to work in the evenings on any given weekend, if necessary.
  •  Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests.
  •  Have an excellent work ethic is essential.
  •  Have a high attention to detail.
  •  Be proficient in the English language.
  •  Experience cleaning within private homes or 5-star hotels.
  •  Working as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • European Passport holder preferable.
