Roles and Responsibilities

* Preparing and cooking high-quality lunches and dinners for the family, typically catering for 2–8 people.
* Providing daily meals for four household staff.
* Creating fresh, seasonal and nutritious menus with a strong focus on Mediterranean and healthy cuisine.
* Sourcing the finest quality ingredients and maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers.
* Catering for guests and private entertaining, delivering elegant and beautifully presented food to a high standard.
* Planning and executing dinner parties and larger occasions with confidence and attention to detail.
* Being flexible and accommodating to the family's changing schedule and requirements.
* Maintaining immaculate kitchen standards, including food hygiene, organisation and stock management.
* Potentially travelling with the family to their yacht during the summer season, providing an excellent standard of onboard catering.

Entry Requirements

* Proven experience as a Private Chef within a high-end private household or similar environment.
* Strong culinary skills, particularly in Mediterranean, modern European and healthy cuisine.
* Creative and confident in preparing both everyday family meals and sophisticated entertaining menus.
* Comfortable catering for varying numbers, from intimate family meals to larger gatherings.
* Experienced in catering for household staff alongside the family.
* Flexible, discreet, professional and personable, with a positive and adaptable approach.
* Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Happy to travel internationally during the summer if required.
* Experience working aboard yachts would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working Pattern
* Monday to Friday as the usual working week.
* Occasional weekend work for family entertaining and special events.
* Potential summer travel to the family yacht.
