This is a newly created role, working for a lovely family with whom we have worked for several years. As such, the Butler will report directly to The Principal while needing to keep the house manager up to date with what is happening in the house.

Candidates must be highly organised, resourceful, flexible, and exhibit an exceptional eye for detail and meticulous approach to what they do, along with being the type of person who is able to instinctively anticipate Their Principal’s requirements, while considering and delivering on known personal preferences.

The Butler will not be required to travel internationally, however will travel to secondary homes in Morocco (up to three times a month).

In addition to leading the service offered to the family, the butler will be required to assist with the training of the locally employed service and housekeeping staff, who are loyal and willing, but sometimes lack finesse. Therefore, previous experience of working in Northern Africa or the middle eastern peninsula etc will be advantageous.
