Our client is searching for an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of a number of properties in London.
In this role, you will take the lead on all facilities management across the private and commercial property portfolio of the client. You will be responsible for the procurement and management of external maintenance, cleaning and waste management, as well as liaising with the client’s security team.
You will also be responsible for managing the external subcontractors when required. This role will be hands-on and candidates must be willing to handle repairs themselves when possible.
SALARY
£60,000 to £70,000 pa gross

Entry Requirements
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager for a private and commercial property portfolio
- Multi-skilled within property maintenance workstreams, including mechanical and electrical
- Experience of operating Building Management Systems
- Previous experience dealing with and adhering to guidelines
- Willingness to demonstrate a hands-on and proactive approach to the role
- Residential experience
Eligibility
- Manage the day-to-day maintenance of the clients property portfolio
- Carry out regular plant and equipment checks when required
- Ensure emergency equipment checks are completed, including fire alarms, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers
- Supervise and manage external maintenance contractors
- Maintain all statutory documentation, including risk assessments, fixed asset register, Health & Safety policy, accident book and fire safety log
- Manage the maintenance of building equipment
- Assist with upkeep of Operations and Maintenance Manuals
- Ad hoc day-to-day maintenance when required
- Manage annual key building maintenance check
- Respond to immediate building requirements whilst buildings are in use
