Our client is seeking an experience HouseManager/Personal Assistant for a newly created role in Greenwich, London.

The House Manager will be providing day-to-day support for the Principals and their family, which will include employee and contractor management.

This will be a multi faceted, hands-on role, which will suit someone with a keen eye for detail and a vocational approach to the work.

Candidates must present a progressive career path, along with proven longevity gathered in their previous roles, combined with experience which may have been gathered in respected deluxe hospitality environments or private homes. It is imagined that candidates may have started their career in housekeeping before moving onto Head Housekeeper, PA and House Manager responsibilities.

Previous experience working in a private household is essential, as are excellent checkable references. With children in the house, a DBS will be required.

Candidates must show they are hard working, career-focussed and have a proven understanding of the need to maintain and protect the discretion and confidentiality of their employers and their family.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Providing full administrative support to Principals and family
  • Personal complex diary management
  • Handling specific projects e.g., planning a holiday, house move or event
  • Organising all personal travel, visas, itineraries for the Principals and family accommodation
  • Undertaking ad hoc personal errands
  • All Gifting Personal/business
  • Household Grocery shopping
  • Household purchases/returns
  • Booking household maintenance/Servicing required, overseeing any repairs and workmen
  • Management of car fleet
  • Personal appointments/reservations
  • General outreach and communication with 3rd party contractors
  • Organise events - Christmas, NYE, Birthdays
  • Overseeing Household staff
  • Setting up for formal dinners/meetings
  • Oversee care of guests visiting or overnight
  • Budgeting
  • Managing Property inventories

Entry Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years within a Private household
  • IT literate – Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Enhanced DBS
