Returning Green Baize Door clients are seeking a discrete, meticulous, hard-working, dedicated and seasoned Housekeeper / Laundress to assist with the full-time daily cleaning of their primary family residence and guest house. Candidates will take care of all aspect of housekeeping, laundry, steaming, ironing. They will also be require to serve lunch on an informal basis and cook when the chef is off duty.
The ideal candidate must have ample experience working in a private residence, have exceptional attention to detail, understanding of full-range Housekeeping & Laundry duties, attention to special surfaces and meticulously maintained interiors. The principal work occasionally from home so the candidate must be discreet at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Full housekeeping
- Cleaning/sanitizing/dusting/sweeping/vacuuming bathrooms, kitchens (including assisting with dishes), bedrooms, interior living areas, outside living areas (lanais/patios), (interior and outside porches/lanais, doorways)
- Laundry (clothing and bedding)
- Prepare and set table for meals
- Feed and clean up after pets (cats and a dog)
- Regular deep cleaning of floors, bathrooms, appliances, surfaces, inside of cabinets, etc
- Commitment to using approved, natural/organic products only
OCCASIONAL DUTIES:
- Assist with food prep or serving/cleaning up after meals others prepare
- Run errands (eg grocery shopping)
- Assist occasionally with driving household members (for appointments etc.)
- Coordinate on-site with vendors as needed
- May need to answer door and phones
- Transport pets for appointments/care
- Other duties as requested
Entry Requirements
- Strong housekeeping experience and familiarity with high value and delicate furnishings and laundry
- Detail oriented
- Independently motivated without need for regular oversight
- Professional, courteous, discreet, honest and responsible
- Be well groomed, physically able to perform the duties of the position and willing to submit to a full pre-employment check to verify background, drug-test and have valid Florida driver’s license
- Must have own car
